The crazy branch of the petunia family
Crazytunia – what a great name! And, just as the name promises, they come in a range of crazy colours and patterns that make them stand out in any crowd.
But there’s more to a crazytunia than just the fabulous colour schemes. Here are some of the other reasons you’ll love them:
- Multi-branching and compact, so they don’t get straggly, or bald in the middle
- Fast growing
- Tolerant of both heat and wet weather
- Self cleaning, which means minimum maintenance and no dead-heading
Shown here, moonstruck is a fabulous combination of bright purples, pinks and yellows that makes us think of a delicious bowl of blackberries and custard. YUM! Is it wrong that all our favourite flowers make us think of delicious desserts and drinks?
Crazytunia Black MambaThe velvety black blooms on this gorgeous plant are an absolute show-stopper! We love to pair them with lime greens, for instance ipomoea marguerite or creeping jenny, both of which make the dark blooms totally pop.
